About us

I am an extremely proud Mum and Granny who has always enjoyed working with children around me. Whilst a school secretary, in the '90s, I set up and ran a school uniform shop. This became a very successful venture and The School Shop Trading Company was born.

Not ready to 'retire' when I sold the business, I started "the one and only gift company" and marketed unique personalised gifts including my first children's personalised story and song CD called 'On the Big Red Bus'. The CD was such fun to make and very popular so I gave it its own website and expanded the Bus' routes!

Fast forward 10 years, and during the 'Covid lockdown months of 2020', I wrote two short stories for young readers. I loved every minute of writing and hope your children or grandchildren will reap the pleasure from reading my books too! Maybe as they did when listening to Granny Farmer on The Big Red Bus!
